Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering

  Profile

The department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in the year 1998 with an approved intake of 40 students. Since inception, the department is growing in all spheres. The sanctioned strength has been enhanced to 60 with effect from 2003 - 2004. The course provides ample knowledge in the main fields of power engineering control systems and electronics. The syllabus is designed to provide a thorough knowledge from the basic ideas to research and development. An electrical engineer plays a vital role in industries. He can also shine in computer and IT field.

Once in a semester the departmental magazine "Lightning castle" is published in which articles written by both students and staff of Electrical and Electronics Engineering on latest topics are included. Our department has extended its service to the society by conducting short term courses on "House Wiring" & "Fan Rewinding" for a duration of one week for rural unemployed youth and uneducated home makers to enable them to go for self employment.
