Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in the year 1997 to meet the long felt needs of rural students. All these years department of ECE has been striving hard to achieve laurels and excellence.

With an initial intake of 40 students, student’s strength has reached the maximum of 120 students. A team of well qualified, highly skilled and dedicated faculty members is striving to enlighten and mould the students. Most of our faculty members are post graduates.


The department is headed by Mrs.Helina Rajini Suresh, M.E. Two eminent professors Dr.Vasant Naidu, an eminent Professor is guiding the students to excel in R&D.

Our department, prodigy of excellence strives diligently to reach the pinnacle surmounting its previous triumphs as Wordsworth quotes it “miles to go before I sleep”.

To produce a minimum of 75% graduates in 2003-2007 batch.

 

To produce a minimum of 25 distinctions in the final terminal examination of the 2003-2007 batch

 

To present a minimum of 10 papers by the students in the National Level Technical Symposiums

 

To present a minimum of 5 papers by staff in conferences

 

To arrange at least 10 special lectures/year to expose the students to the latest technology

 

To enhance industry institution interaction by encouraging the final year students to take up at least five projects in industry
