The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in the year 1995-1996 for producing globally competent professionals. The department offers qualitative training and scope for more research. The department provides state-of-the-art computing facilities to the students. It also promotes active industry-institute collaboration by identifying areas of interest and taking part in sponsored research projects. The department offers undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes.
In the context of Indian contribution in the arena of computer application in India as well as in global level, the department of Computer Science and Engineering has got a pivotal role to play in producing competent and committed computer professionals.
